Gary Hernbroth is the Chief Motivating Officer and founder of Training for Winners. After 18 years in sales, marketing, and management positions in various luxury hotels, Gary founded Training for Winners in 1995.

As a nationally recognized professional speaker and trainer known for his straight-talking "tell it like it is" style and humorous approach, Gary has developed customized training programs, webinars, and memorable presentations for all types and sizes of companies, national and regional associations, trade groups, universities, and small businesses across the USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

Gary draws upon his 33 years of experience in the meetings and hospitality business, plus extensive research, to develop award-winning programs on sales & negotiation skills, customer service, coaching, managing, and leadership, time management, personal branding, and one-on-one coaching . His training has been featured in "Selling Power" Magazine, and he is a frequent author in national trade magazines (both print and on-line) on such topics as sales, communication, team-building, and leadership. He has achieved "expert" status as an on-line author for E-Zine.com. He is a regular presenter at HSMAI's Affordable Meetings, ASAE, MPI, DMAI, and PCMA . He served two terms as the president of the Northern CA PCMA Chapter, and is currently serving on two committees for the Convention Industry Council.

Gary is a graduate of The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University, where he was named one of The School's Distinguished 75th Anniversary alumni. He currently serves on its Alumni Board of Directors. He resides in Northern CA.
